Everything runs in your browser. Your files are never uploaded, so it also works on a slow connection once the page has loaded.
How to do it
- 1 Choose your photo from the gallery or camera.
- 2 Drag to position it and use the zoom slider until the frame looks right.
- 3 Turn on the name and date strip and type your details.
- 4 Check the green badge shows the size is inside 20KB to 50KB, then download the JPG.
FAQ
What size is the SSC CGL photo?
This preset starts at 413x531px, 20KB to 50KB, 300 DPI. Check your notification and edit the Requirements panel if your form says otherwise.
Is my file uploaded anywhere?
No. Cropping, resizing and compression run inside your browser on your own device. The file never leaves it.
How does it reach an exact KB range?
It searches JPEG quality to land just under the maximum. If the image is too small to reach the minimum, it adds harmless padding data without changing any pixel.
How is the DPI requirement met?
300 DPI is written into the JPEG header (JFIF density), which is what most upload portals read.
What is the name and date strip?
Some forms want your name and the date the photo was taken printed on a white strip at the bottom. Switch it on, type your name and the date, and it is drawn for you.
